What your treatment and recovery entail

Before the procedure begins, we apply a topical numbing cream to assist in keeping you comfortable. You will feel a warm, slightly prickly sensation as the device moves across your skin, but the discomfort is manageable. The entire session takes approximately one hour.

Afterward, your skin will look pink  and feel slightly warm, similar to a mild sunburn. You will need to avoid direct sun exposure and wear a high-quality sunscreen a week prior to your treatment and again as your skin heals. Most of the redness fades within a few days, and you can apply makeup after 24 to 48 hours to cover any remaining pinkness.
